First of all, I have to say that this is one of the best tutorial groups that I have ever seen. Props to you Andrew. I do have a question though, and the answer will be of a great help to me: Can you tell me how to find the average and/or max of a calculated field, but without taking into account the first value (the first row)? Thank you very much, I'm looking forward to your response.

Hi Stefan! Is there something special about the first row which you can use to identify it? I think the simplest solution would be to apply a filter to the report item to remove this row.

@@WiseOwlTutorials unfortunately, i don't think I can use anything to identify the particular row. And from what I've seen, I can't use RowNumber() in filters. Any suggestions?

@@WiseOwlTutorials Unfortunately, I don't think that there are other ways of referencing the first row. I have tried using the RowNumber() function in the Tablix filter expression (RowNumber("Dataset") = 1), but it seems that I'm not allowed to use this function in a filter. Do you have any other suggestions?

@@mokaxinoful Perhaps you can include something in the source data which allows you identify the row with some criteria other than its position in the table.

Hello ty for the tutorial, i would like to know how can i have a footer on every page. ty
@WiseOwlTutorials Жыл бұрын
Hi! The only way I can think of to do this would be to create a group to control how many rows your table shows on each page, add a group footer and a page break between groups. This old video shows the basics of the technique kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHO8n2R6ipiJg7M I hope it helps!

Can we create page number indexing in SSRS?
@WiseOwlTutorials2 жыл бұрын
Hi Omkar, you can use Built-In Fields to add page numbers to your reports. You can find Built-In Fields in the Report Data window and in the Expression Builder. I hope it helps!
