When considering light as particles, they are called photons, which are massless particles that carry energy and momentum.According to Albert Einstein's theory of special relativity, light travels from one place to another in the form of electromagnetic waves. This theory revolutionized our understanding of space, time, and the nature of light. It established that the speed of light (denoted by 'c') in a vacuum is constant and is the maximum speed at which information or matter can travel in the universe. Einstein's theory also introduced the famous equation E=mc^2, which relates energy (E) and mass (m), showing that mass and energy are interchangeable and can be transformed into each other. This theory provided a unified framework for understanding the behavior of objects moving at high speeds and laid the foundation for modern physics.

The rising of a wet liquid in a capillary tube is due to capillary action, which is a phenomenon caused by the combination of adhesive and cohesive forces.

The photoelectric effect was discovered by German physicist Heinrich Hertz in 1887. However, it was Albert Einstein who provided the theoretical explanation of the phenomenon in 1905, which ultimately earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921.

Rise in water in capillary tube is due to surface tension. Not adhesive forces Please check.

The height to which the liquid rises in the capillary tube depends on the properties of the liquid (such as surface tension and density), the diameter of the tube, and the angle of contact between the liquid and the tube's walls.
