Thanks, that was an excellent upload. Very clear and clean. No room echo distortion and perfect test. My decoder app works as good as your computer program.

Thanks, direct radio to pc recording. This makes good practice material before they transmit SSTV. Thanks for using this recording.

Very cool. I will have to try that with my Ed Fong J pole. I live in the Bay Area so I would be picking up the same ISS passes as you. I will have to look up the ISS frequency and see when it's going to pass by.

purplemutantas The pictures are being sent for a bit over 1 day. They end at 21:30 today. At least you will be ready if and when they transmit SSTV again.

I tried doing the same but with no luck, using a j pole antenna to receive, ft 7800, and stand 1/8 to sound running MMSSTV.

Christopher Ritchie You had the right stuff. Did you hear the ISS?

Thanks for sharing. I was surprised to get a couple of images from every North American pass (I'm in Texas). I was concerned that I would only get two low passes today based on my ISS packet experience. - K5PAV

The second pass was a great picture. Would be willing to do a series on SSTV like what you did for PSK31? I'm having trouble getting things going on SSTV.

Is there any schedule for this or do I need to have everything running each time it passes?
@K7AGE9 жыл бұрын
***** This is by scheduled times only. Watch ARRL, AMSAT and ISS Fan Club for possible future SSTV transmissions. I wish they would operate the SSTV station more often. Best to do is to get your station ready to receive the ISS. Learn when the ISS will be overhead. Packet is on 145.825. You should be able to hear the packet, as it is one most of the time.

How in the world do I get images from the ISS? I'm new to SSTV, it's very interesting indeed.
@K7AGE8 жыл бұрын
+Ertyleis Sorry, I just saw your comment. It is best to keep a check on the ARRL or AMSAT website for news about upcoming SSTV transmissions.

Richard Slusher I was going to make a how to video. Then I found out that there were very limited passes over the US. So, I ditched that idea. Then they extended the time by 24 hours. But then it was too late for me to make the video. I will get something together.
