*Prototype story* (for people who have never heard of the game or its story) Prototype 1: You play as Alex Mercer. He ended up releasing a virus that infects him, giving him superhuman abilities (jumping high, running fast, turning arms into weapons, and more). Your goal is to try and stop the same virus from being unleashed upon the world. Prototype 2: You play as James Heller, a soldier who lost his wife and daughter to Alex's recklessness of the virus. In an attempt to stop him and kill him, he ends up infecting you with the same virus. Your goal is to learn how to evolve and grow in power, to stop Alex Mercer's sinister plans. (Sorry if either one sound confusing, I'm not good at explaining things like game stories)

Damn bro prototype game brings me back. You never actually get the virus out of you. In the first game you play as an infected human named alex mercer but in the 2nd game youre the virus that thinks its alex mercer. Great game and a nice blast from the past, would love to see it remastered.

you got it wrong. in the first game, you're alex mercer, who got infected with the blacklight virus (aka mercer virus) right as he died, and became the virus with alex's memories. in the 2nd game, you are james heller, a soldier who got infected from alex mercer, and later on, james heller kills alex mercer because alex mercer kidnapped his daughter and was threatening to infect her too.

No claws like wolverine, no hiding as people, no intelligence gathering, no other forms, the prototype doesn't talk, mercer never grew, and Zombies should roam around.
