I was christened in there in 1964. You'd think that being a cathedral it should've worked but I'm the staunchest atheist you're ever likely to meet! My parents were running a pub called The Goat just around the corner & I think that had a more lasting effect on me! 🍻 I can just remember going to a pre-school playgroup in the cathedral. Even now church bells are nostalgic for me.

Wonderful place. Its got some beautiful late perpendicular gothic work inside thats just stunning. Much nicer than the old english gothic in the main part of the cathedral. Great work Alice
