If I tried to read this in a book, sleep would overcome me. not because of the subject matter, just part of getting old. But I just listened to the entire audiobook and say "Well read"! Thank you. Recommended reading is also Abandonment to Divine Providence by de Caussade. Great saints think alike !

Thank you for telling us, verbatim, of what these Saints wrote. It is so difficult to find books about our Saints in the Philippines. St Paul's Publications said printing books about lives of Catholic Saints, is no longer frequent. It means, , less & less people are reading these books, esp the new genetation.

Really? That's unfortunate as it is so easy to find books on the saints here in the US. And until I reread your message I was going to tell you to check out St Pauls since I usually stop in their stores when I'm in Manila. Where do you live? I make no promises, but if you're in a place that's not far from where I visit I'd be more than happy to bring you back some books. I'm there yearly with my wife. We stay in Metro Manila for a while, but predominantly stay with her family in Negros Occidental (Kabankalan).

Please read Matthew 27: 50-53 it states clearly after Jesus died on the cross that the Saints arose. Catholics do not worship any Saint but pray for their help and honor them. I see so many cold hearted comments like yours everyday and it's not helping anyone by trying to create doubts about Abbahs relationship to us all. If you are Protestant I beg you to do a little research on Martin Luther as he authored a book late in his career titled " On Jews and Their Lies " its the most shameful "Christian " book ever written. In this book Luther condemns people with outright contempt and encourages the burning down of homes, schools and synagogues. And hitler and the nazi party even used quotes from this book to further their propaganda and to convince the german people that antisemitism had a long Christian history. Luther who was the father of the protestant movement was not a kind hearted man. Please do research this for the sake of your own soul and others. You can listen to it on youtube as many audio forms of "On Jews and Their Lies" are available. You will be shocked.

What a pleasure to have this reading. He did not just "tell you what to do", he gave examples of what we need to do to surrender our wills to the will of God. It was made easy to understand just what to do. I needed that direction. I have always said the words..."thy will be done". I did not understand the value of the words. From now on I will be more reverent as I say them. I will listen to this often.

Radically life-changing! God has prepared me for this book!!!! It had helped me to understand why things have happened in my life and how I have not understood His purposes in my life! Amazing insight and profound guidance. How far the CSsR of today has fallen! They willingly embrace the spirit of Vatican II-Proud to deny the divinity of Christ and the singular importance of His sacrifice on Calgary. A terrible chastisement indeed, the clergy sheppard the flock towards the gates of Hell! Nonetheless, Lord let your will be done. We, the innocent, gladly suffer if it be Your will.

God has everything we have .. even better. The only thing that He does not have is our will because He gave it to us and He cannot take it back. That is the essence of free will. So to give our will back to God is the greatest gift we can give Him.
