I want so badly to help you out and give you my resource....but it's a tune I learned from playing contradance, and I just picked it up. I have not found this version in print, BUT I KNOW IT IS in print, because the other fiddlers were reading it.

Hello and thank you for all your videos. I just regret that they are not in French! I play looking at you but I do not always keep up the bow and I often backwards ... Is there only one way to play ? Meanwhile the other pieces , thank you again very much.

+Michel Chatel Hi Michel, Thank you for watching! NO, there is not only one way to play the bowings! It is an individual thing! The most important thing is for you to get the "gesture", or "nuance" (there's a French word for you!). One more thing: if you have classical training, you will want to avoid ALWAYS placing the downbeat on a down bow......it's too square.
