I spent a lot of time down there in the 80's and walked along the railway track sheppards had a yard next to old st peters station and had there own train in the yard now days its all changed and the only thing left is the stone bridge at the botton of belmount bank and the stone walls where the railway used to run between them its a nice walk loads of flowers very green lol

years ago a use to collect maggots from walker bone yard and use them as fishing bait when a was a kid, so all this change is new to me now, so you can actually drive under the bridge to the river

Many people drive down and park on the edge of the river and get their fishing gear out and chill. Thanks for sharing.
