Just finished reading Dr. Esolen's translation of Dante's Divine Comedy. I read a different translation of St. Augustine's Confessions about a year and a half ago, may have to pick this translation up for a second read through. I am very particular about translation, and Dr. Esolen is a translator I can trust.

Thank you for publishing this new translation. You have aroused my interest. I do wish that you would refrain from adding music to Augustine's words. They don't need to be ginned up or adorned. They are sufficient.
