I have 4 that were blessed by a Benedictine abbot with the ancient Benedictine exorcism prayer. When i asked my Parish priest to give a blessing over another extra one, he did not want to do the Benedictine prayer which would take 1min. when I showed him the prayer on my phone. He only crossed the Benedictine medal and could not be bothered. I was soooo disappointed :( Not easy to always have access to a Benedictine monk.

hello Father Bryan, I am from Asia and I bought 11 Benedictine medals and 1 cross just like the one you shown and traveled for 4 hours to a Benedictine Monastery to have my medals blessed to Benedictine Exorcism prayer but when I went there the Priest just blessed my medals for a short prayer and a sign of the cross and went away. I message their page before coming asking if they will blessed my medals with that exorcism prayer and they said yes, anytime. I am disappointed. I am glad you are offering those medals with prayers for free, hope I can get one or have my medals be blessed.

Father thank you so much for this video, I wish I could come by and get a bunch . I live in Ohio and gave one to a girl that wants to do the RCIA and now some of her friends want a Benedict medal!!!! Hi! You could purchase the medal at amazon or an online Catholic shop. I suggest you get the one that is made in italy because I remember a Catholic forum before that there was an error in the inscriptions stamped on the medal. :)

Did you ever get a Saint Benedict medal? If not would follow the advice of the other woman who left a comment. But use the Catholic company. Then you need to get it exorcized and blessed. Your best bet for getting a priest to do both is to ask a traditional Catholic priest. I would call a church and ask if their priest does both the exorcism and blessing. Expect they may want you to make an appointment because it is quite an involved process. It requires Holy water and special prayers in Latin for the exorcism and blessing.

The priest can use the particular blessing for the St. Benedict medal, which can be found on the order of St. Benedict website. It takes a minute or two, nothing elaborate.

I gave our Priest the prayers for the blessing that I had copied from information I had seen. But he only did a quick blessing did not sprinkle Holy water not sure if that was required. Will the blessing still do as was expected for this medal?

It isn't the same blessing, but it is still a blessing. St. Benedict will pray for you as he sees your devotion to him.

Lex orandi. Lex credendi. There is no way that we believe, if we don't perform rightly. The Saint Benedict medal is very powerful. So, i always go to a priest who bless the medals in Latin, and handing me the book with the Latin formula and English translation. I'm always there during the exorcism or blessing, since this is a very serious task. I put the medals in the foundation of my house, all the corners of my rooms, even bury the medals in my garden. Our great Roman Catholic Church should do far more to promote this medal. At least one day a year a Saint Benedict medal blessing day in the church with the faithful.

The medal can still be used without the blessing of a priest, although the blessing that a priest can provide is additionally powerful. The Lord provides grace.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but according to the Catholic faith, Angels are NOT superior to humans, they just came before in the order of Creation (Old Testament) but PRECISELY because of the human potential according to how God created us, the rebellious ones hated our guts and have been trying to demonstrate God how unworthy we are to have been created by Him with such potential which THEY envy. It is important to know this because if we fall into the believe that they are superior we can fall into all sorts of trickeries by the fallen ones.

We actually teach that angels are superior creatures compared to humans, in a natural way. They are more intelligent and not limited by bodies. Because they are superior creatures, Saran is able to hold the human race captive after the Fall - St Paul says that all men are under the power of Sin. If Adam and Eve had not rebelled against God's command, they would have remained under his protection. Now, because of the Incarnation, Jesus has redeemed the human race, so that all of those who are in Christ have been made partakers of the Divine nature. As long as baptized Christians remain faithful to Jesus' commands, they remain in an elevated state, made higher than the angels.

Yet BIBLE says Peter (supposed R Church first leader) had mother in law. Bible says celibacy is not a qualification for clergies. Mat 8:14-15, Mar 1:30-31, Luk 4:38-39. 3. Catholics say Mary was forever virgin. Yet BIBLE says Jesus had brothers and sisters. Mary was not perpetually virgin. Mk 6:3, Mat 13:55, Mat 27:56, Mar 6:3, Mar 15:40, Mar 15:47. 4. Catholics say confess to R priests in a box. BIBLE says nothing about confessing to priests in a box. Bible says confess to GOD only. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6, Romans 10:9-10. 5. Catholics say drink of the physical blood of Jesus. Yet OT and NT both say do not drink blood. Acts 15, Lev 7:26. 6. Catholics say pray to passed on Mary and "saints". Catholics make and bow down to statues. BIBLE says do not bow down to graven images (statues). Deut 4, Exo 20:4-5. 8. Catholics sprinkles “holy water”. But NT Church of the Bible mentioned nothing about “holy water”. There was no record of any Apostles sprinkling “holy water” on believers. Catholics claimed “holy water” came from OT. Yet Num 5:17 says “holy water” was water used to test adulterous women in OT temple. Hardly the same. Those were for Old Covenant Jews. Not New Testament Christians. 9. Catholics say Peter was pope - bishop of all bishops. Yet BIBLE says Peter was just a leader of the Jerusalem Church. Bible says nothing of the office of bishop of bishops. Gal 2:9, Mat 16:18. 10. Catholics say there is a seat of Peter. Yet BIBLE says nothing about it. Jesus said “not to lord over others”. 11. Catholics has clergy priesthood. Bible says clergy priesthood was done away with in New Testament. There is no clergy priesthood in NT. Heb 7:27, 9:12, 10:10. 12. Catholics preaches Works Salvation (faith + good works + partake R sacraments + submit to R pontiff + be in R Church + devote to Mary = to be saved). Yet Bible says “believe in Jesus to be saved”. Bible says Works Salvation is cursed. Gal 1:8-9. Acts 16:30-31, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10. 13. Catholics says they must do Penance to atone for their sins. Yet Bible says repent, confess and sins will be forgiven. Catholic Bible changes the word “repentance” in NT into “penance”. Original Greek NT does not use or mean the word penance. We can talk about these citations and some that you missed (although you happened to miss some passages), but first a question: Who has the authority to interpret Scripture? You obviously don't believe Catholics can interpret Scripture, so we'll stay out of that. But what happens if two Protestants interpret a passage differently? Who has the authority to declare one person correct and the other incorrect? This kind of thing happens all the time - there are many, many different Protestant denominations and more non-denominational groups. How is anyone to know which on is correct in its teaching?

Anyone who tries to distribute The Power of Jesus, is not of God. Jesus Alone died on The Cross, only He has the Power. You do not know what secret sins St Benedict was involved in, & you are bringing that into the life of other believers. If you make any of these little ones to lose faith in Christ & believe in other people it is better... Please send the scripture that saints are our intercessor. My Bible says Jesus alone is our Intercessor. JESUS ALONE DIED ON THE CROSS.

@@tknciliba4743 John 14:11-13 - Jesus says the one who believes in him will do greater works than Jesus (!). Acts 19:11-12 - God clearly works through Paul and through objects associated with him. Acts 5:14-16 - God clearly works through Peter and through his shadow, something associated with him. 2 Kings 13:20-21 - A dead man comes back to life after touching the bones of Elisha: power in objects associated with a holy man of God. You're correct - there are no verses in the Bible that clearly state, "Take medals associated with St. Benedict and use them for spiritual warfare against the devil." There are also no verses that clearly explain the hypostatic union or that explain the Trinity. There are also no verses that clearly teach that the Bible is the only source of spiritual authority. Matthew 28:18-20 - Jesus gives his authority to his Apostles, the ministers of his Church. John 20:19-23 - Jesus gives his authority to his Apostles, the ministers of his Church. 2 Corinthians 5:20 - Paul, an Apostle, says that "we" (he and the other leaders of the Church) are ambassadors for Christ - God is making his appeal through them. God speaks through his Church. Thus, the Church has the authority to carry forward the biblical reality that objects associated with God's holy servants can have spiritual power attached to them, given by God.
