Glee is over. I thought i would be so ready for this, but i wasn't. It was completely emotional. And yeah... I can't believe that i can say that... ST BERRY IS ENDGAME BITCHEZZZ!!!
I still can't breath. Even if i'm sad that Cory died, i've never shipped Finchel and see this OTP becoming canon was the best thing Ryan could do for us.

I think that too!!! The part of them being soulmates, I mean. Rachel and Jesse were two sides of the same coin. But, despite Jesse being Rachel´s soulmate, I believe Finn was Rachel conscience, and the one whom complements her best. I think that with Jesse Rachel´s egotism and narcissism enhanced, at least at the beginning. But with Finn Rachel kept her feet on the ground, somehow.

For me, it's the other way around... Finn was her soulmate... but we don't always end up with our soulmate... Finn came into her life, to teach Rachel the lessons she needed to learn. To grow and become who she was meant to be. And after that purpose was served, their time together ended.

I'm glad the producers went down this route and finished Glee with Rachel being happy. It would have been sad had she not got her happy ending. It's right that they brought Jesse back for her and it's even cuter that these two are best friends in real life. Adorable video.

The first time I watched this show I was really young, and like most people I bought into the Finchel relationship, and I don't think I liked Jesse very much. But for me, after watching it again as someone older, I've really come to appreciate the relationship Rachel and Jesse have. They really are just a much better match. He never threw her away like Finn did (well except when he did...for show choir) but anyways I always felt like he valued her. He's what Rachel said she needed in a partner from the beginning, someone who could go toe to toe with her. The deleted scene of them singing together is what solidified that for me. How originally he's pushing against her but then she pushes back and by the end it's a push and pull and they are in step. Plus he's as dramatic as her.

To this day it still remains a mystery how finchel was the most loved couple when Finn dismissed Rachel every chance he got and constantly made her feel bad about herself. That’s y’all’s relationship goals? He was terrible for her and never understood her whereas Jesse always knew what real drive and show business was like and why she was so drawn to it. Same, Finn was a good guy but in the real world they wouldnt work, they broke up too many times and they made eachother feel bad, for her he needed to remain a "loser" so they could date and she wouldnt feel bad and for him she needed to change and put him first, they were better off as friends, besides i never understood why everyone ended up with their 1st love, im glad she didnt end up with Sam (that was turning into Finn)

Jesse has always been the better choice for Rachel. Finn broke Rachel's heart many times. Jesse on the other hand, loves and respect Rachel for who she was. First, he gave up competing in vocal adrenaline to be with Rachel (which is basically Jesse's whole high school life and career). AND unlike Finn and Rachel's other relationships, Jesse was the only one who never made Rachel feel insecure. When St. Berry was a thing, Rachel was actually confident and genuinely happy about herself. He made a mistake, once and he came back and made up for it many times. His heart broke many times because Rachel always choosing Finn over him but, he respected that, he even congratulated Finn for the wedding. Finn died and Rachel made bad decisions and her whole career started going downhill. Despite all that, Jesse chose to come back for Rachel and support her. Whatever the circumstances are, Jesse always supports Rachel. Jesse and Rachel are perfect for each other.

These two were perfect together. I'm still so sad that Cory died, and I wish he was still with us, but in terms of the characters, they would have done Rachel dirty if she had ended up with Finn. They originally planned on Rachael winning her Tony and then giving up her career--everything she worked for her entire life--so she could go back to her hometown and marry Finn. With Jesse, she got everything she wanted, the amazing guy and the career she loved.
