This child is a genius. Even the way he drew attention to his plight using modern day technology, that alone says to me that I WILL LEAVE NO STONES UNTURNED , I must and I will transcend above my current situation , I was created for a greater purpose than my current circumstances. i'm not trying to bring anyone down but it was the teacher's idea for him to tell his story to get help.

When the struggle is Real, Everyone should take notice. In my day, it was usually Teacher's who would kindly bring attention to the Less fortunate students. However the young man seems quite soft spoken. And intelligent, articulate, and Godly. He listen to his teacher, and followed her suggestions. He mentioned that he was in CHURCH and had not seen the video. At my Church we set aside funds, food, clothing for ARMS. Is this not done in Jamaica? Surly someone in the church could see the desperate need of this family.

Do not wait until there is an election coming up to show up with promises, do the work. As mi mada always sey " Dog a sweat, but hair cova it".

Delano you have brought tears to my eyes, hope to young people in Jamaica and across the globe. Often times persons tied their adult misfortunes to their childhood socio-economic status but you have shown a flip side to this mind-set. Your parents have deposited their wealth of values in you in lieu of the material wealth they so deeply wish they have to give you. God has heard your humble request. He is a God who operates in times and seasons, therefore, has sent you your destiny helpers. There are so many loving and caring people in Jamaica and across the world. It is an inspiration to see how everyone join hands and heart to help this family. We all will do our best to see that you fulfil your dreams. God bless and keep you and your family. Growing up we had a family like that living in my neighborhood and my mom would always feed the children from that family.Likewise I do what I can for others.Nobody should be living like this in modern Jamaica.People are always going to have their struggles, but not like this. The whole Jamaica stepped up today. The Politicians need to start providing resources for poor people. He could have resorted to criminality like some of these John Crow (gunmen) in our society. He didn’t let his circumstance dictate his future. This is a great story. If you don’t cry or have some compassion, then definitely you don’t have a heart. Need more out pooring of love like this. People FOCUS on DELANO & DELANO Alone... NOT the noise AROUND! HE 'DESERVES' the Assistance, so this is NOT about his mother, father, who wants to help.... Blah Blah, its About DELANO....

Praise God for kind people. 🙏 I am a retired Clinical Social Worker living in Florida. I was able to assemble a team of donors. We ship to Kingston and Westmoreland, Trinidad, St Vincent and those in need in the US. We do this out of love and kindness.
