Thank you as always! The views are stunning, have you ever been over to St Catherine's? If not, I highly recommend the area for a spectacular sunset, perhaps not the bus service though 🤣

Thank you for an interesting and very well produced video .All of them have have brought back happy memories of the railways on the Island in the 50`s and now this ,of places that I visited many years ago with friends who had a small hotel on the road leading down to Bonchurch and a cottage in Niton .Look forward to many more.

Nice to see someone has decorated the top of a red post box - they do that here too, at Wallington, south London

Another enjoyable and well researched video. I was lucky enough to go on a guided tour of the 'new' lighthouse pre covid. I'll be back on the island in August and hope to follow in your footsteps.

Thank you as always! I hoped I'd be able to have a look inside but to no avail, fingers crossed they re-open it to visitors soon. All the best 😊

I always thought the Pepperpot was the oratory and the actual lighthouse was the Mustard Pot; am I Mistaken? Also we always knew Hoy's Monument as the Russian Monument P.s. when we lived in the Pitts at Bonchurch , on a clear night my sister and I would time the gap between the flashes of the light at five (5) seconds. P.p.s Great video

I believe the pepper pot is the 1328 lighthouse and the oratory (now gone) was adjoined. The mustard pot (or I've also heard it be called the salt pot) is the remains of a replacement lighthouse built in the 1700s but never finished. It is a beautiful place Bonchurch, shocked at the recent landslip though. All the best & many thanks for watching 😊👍

@@ryanscarrmusic2329 some sources state 239m and some 240m, either way there is only about a metre in it between St Catherine's and St Boniface apparently. Thanks for your comment🙂👍
