My mother's cousin Pat Fisher from Helmshore supported the RNLI and received numerous awards. What better way to commemorate a wonderful lady who passed away aged 100. Wishing the crew a safe passage throughout their shouts.x

My cousin Christopher's name is on Clifden's lifeboat. I wish the men and women who "man" this and all RNLI vessels safe "shouts".

My father is commemorated on the Invergorden Launch a Memory Lifeboat, will there ever be an opportunity when she will be “dry” to pay tribute in the same way ?

Hi Gordon, Thank you so much for your message. Unfortunately this was put on by the Clifden station with the arrival of their Shannon. This isn't something we can do with on service boats as to beach the Shannon in the same way would mean the lifeboat would need to be taken off service. We do have a direct replica of the decal on a billboard, close to the station at Invergordon and if you keep an eye on the station's Facebook page they are offering some tours on the station and the opportunity to get up-close with the lifeboat. I hope this helps.

So wonderful to see. My Dad's name, 'Pherd' is on the starboard no 4. Amazing as it's just turned 4 years since he passed. It's wonderful to know that he'll be with you on every mission and a great way to raise funds for a fantastic cause. ❤️🚤❤️
