Beautifully told ... thank you. Just a little note: some Franciscan scholars and teachers have said that Clare and her sisters did not immediately enter cloister, but nursed the lepers and the sick, also taking on manual labour, giving alms and occasionally begging when no paid labour could be found. They think she went into cloister around the time of Francis’ death.
