When is the last time you had $1 to buy a snack after studying for so long?
When is the last time you were hungry, but gave money to someone on the street instead?
When is the last time you wished you could buy something but you realized you didn’t have enough?
Our mothers wished that their spiritual children didn’t have to pray in the restroom because it’s so crowded.
They prayed that they could help fit more battered women with them, but the room in the monastery is too small.
They hoped in God that they would have enough room to pray that their spiritual children could have kids after being barren for so long.
Now they have a chance for their prayers to be heard, and room for them to pray for us, and help others in need. As it says the the holy book, giving moves the mercies of God and “Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy”.
