There’s a lot of hate here in the comments, but I’ve taken classes in Generative AI from the industry leaders, and she’s not wrong. What she is suggesting is that you need human professionals (not a product) to help you better craft whatever it is that you want to create, using AI tools. She didn’t mention a website, she didn’t mention a product you should use, or anything like that. Just that you use real human professionals in the space that you’re targeting. As far as she went, I think all the leaders in this space would agree - Generative AI will only get you so far, and to really achieve your goals, you’re going to need the input from experienced professionals in that field.

Nice talk. This was a bit of a satire but a good take on how relying too much on AI can limit one’s innate eloquence to the point of becoming generic. AI art is another thing - I guess?? I mean if the “artist” still gave a unique set of prompts to the AI to come up with the “Art” - then that’s his/her creativity contribution or something? Not a fan though.

TED, a channel known for unique people sharing lessons learned from their unique human experiences, is literally the last place I want to be told to use AI in my writing. Good to know I can't trust your content to be truly about unique individuals going forward.

IN THE OLD WORLD - IT WOULD BE CALLED CHEATING, PLAGIARIZING - ALL THINGS COME FROM GOD OR AI RIGHT?

How depressing. In the future, an utterly undeserving candidate can sell you a product with no actual value using a tool based on a historic amount of copyright theft. The true threat of AI is the death of creativity and what it actually means to be human, but apparently, none of the robots peddling it gives a damn. We deserve our fate.

AI is amazing but I feel like it is eventually going to create a VERY closed loop of information. If AI gets its info from the internet, and AI starts to create the majority of the content on the internet that it is then using to create more content, that is going to get repetitive really quick. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out! More at HQ!

"Writing with AI" is contradictory; you either write, or you use AI. You can't do both. And only one of these is valid.

The goal of Ted Talks of being an inspirational collection of talks suddenly seems to have taken a abrupt turn in the opposite direction in the last years, this seems like satire. I guess is time to unsuscribe.

Well , May be she is right !! But, AI is good application if you write an Essay then you can check it with the help ok f AI where I made a mistake then you should practice and improve your writing skill means AI is your teacher .
Either she was not ready or nerves got the better of her. I think she could have shortened the intro which was longer than the relevant content. AI is here and we have to find ways to adapt. I don't know if I learnt much here. No offence intended. Of anyone knows a platform like AI for dummies please point me in the right direction.

I don’t understand the hate. It’s obvious that AI is gonna play a huge part in our future and there is nothing wrong in my mind to use AI to help you achieve your goals. True art is always gonna exist and prevail. AI is just a tool to help us advance and make things easier and faster I agree that this isn’t the best talk but not because of the topic. I just feel she didn’t really add anything new to the conversation
