You did this so well Louise! I like how you inserted so many useful facts into this short video for the visitor. It will be very useful for many! Wow! Super busy too! And only early July! Crumbs, I hope they bring back the 6 carriage trains for the season peak. Great footage shot from the train too, and as you say, best to sit on the right as you leave St. Erth (one of my favourite stations!). I hope this does really well for you. Take care, Paul.

Thanks so much Paul!! Oh yes, 6 carriages sounds like it would be ideal in peak season. This was filmed at around 1pm on a Monday in early July. Thanks so much for the compliments!.

6 carriages indeed Just goes to show how far this line has come since 1971 by which time service's had been reduced to a single carriage!

For us poor souls who live inland it is rather magical to have a seaside train journey. Thanks Louise.

Thank you Faith! Isn’t it gorgeous?! I live inland too but thankfully the sea is only 50 minutes drive away in several directions. I love to see tte sea and this train ride is wonderful 🤗

What a lovely video Louise! You mentioned that St Erth is the penultimate station on the line from London Paddington, but it's the penultimate station on the line from anywhere in the UK (apart from Penzance!). There's even a train from Aberdeen to Penzance each day! The lighthouse you can see is Godrevy, and if you go for a walk along the clifftop there, you can see lots of seals on the beach. The beach between the train and the lighthouse is good for surfing and bodyboarding. Keep up the good work Louise!

Train's now terminate at the former goods siding in St Ives with the rest of the station now a car park however it's good to see many people journeying by rail 👍
