Hi Jim. Very kind of you. Trying catch up with myself . Still a bit of Dolomite material to put together. Thanks again for your encouraging words. 🙂

Great video Terry, I love these old churches and Cathedrals, not that I'm religious but the architecture on most of them is amazing. And a lovely old building off to the side as well.

You're right there. I'm non-religious but love the splendid buildings, current and ruined both. Letterkenny is a good visit. I might go again just our two selves. I see Loganair have return flights from Glasgow at around £150 so all we need is a reasonable hotel. Dillon's was super. Yes, I noticed later there was a nice one to the side. Not sure what is it but I can check the map. Thanks again.

These cathedrals certainly are magnificent...but I do find myself asking at what cost...just me though.

Yeh I get you Bruce. All of the magnificent churches (and castles I guess?) across Europe built from the sweat of the poor parishioners or citizens. Thanks again my friend.

The religious buildings look so striking from up above ...maybe they are meant to be like that..

That's an interesting thought, Terry! The cross construction is certainly very evident. Spires I think were to direct the believers' upwords to God were they not?
