St Hubert's Church of Idsworth

In this video my two walking friends Cynthia and Steve and I visit St Hubert's Church of Idsworth, St Hubert's dates from the 10 century possibly earlier.
We have so far walked through woodland and farmland starting off at Rowlands Castle and where we would end up.
In this video is my first drone flight and recording I am flying an DJI Mavic Mini great little drone and a market leader for its size.

What a charming church, I’d love to have seen the wall paintings. I agree with comments regarding the drone footage, it certainly gives you a sense of the church’s location in the wider environment. Nice work there, Kevin.

Oh wow Kevin! St Hubert's is just so amazing! So disappointing that they still won't let you in as I would have loved to have seen those wall paintings! I was amazed by the intricacies of the carved wood around the porch. Congrats on getting a drone & well done your 1st flight! Couldn't believe that something this special has stood the test of time out in the middle of a farmers field for so many centuries! Btw...are we going to get to see the castle to you mention in your walk?

You obviously didn't read the "No Drones" sign, but a fine report nevertheless.

Where was the sign?

@@KevinsRambles at the bottom of the same sign that asked visitors to keep to the path. You see it in the video as you go through the gate.

@@MrNas42 oh ok I didn't notice that. To be honest if they don't want a drone flown they should put the sign on the gate then it is very clear I was looking either at the gopro or the church

@@MrNas42 i have just looked at the start of the video and can see the sign your on about but could not read it. It doesn't look like an official sign to me to be honest, when I have been on walks in the past and they do not want any drones flown there is proper sign made up and put in a prominent position
