It looked like the trip back over the bridge was uneventful. It can get windy at times and become a bit scary especially pulling a trailer. When I was a kid we were pulling a boat trailer across it and had a flat time midway on the bridge. That was an adventure for sure!! Safe travels.

Fun as always! We've been on Erie Rd! Hubby from Monroe County, MI. Also took a tour(drive) over towards Sandusky along the shoreline when we were up north the other year. Niagra Falls was the opening gambit in our first trip East. There was a open free parking lot that we found for the visit. Took a bit of walking, but worth the effort. Met a retired ranger who filled us in a bit and that helped. We will be back again. Enjoy your week.

Very nice video ride along ! Been to Niagara Falls four times! Always a hoot! On a different subject! There have been problems with Airstream axle frame bolt plates . Cracks and steel fatigue. Just a heads up to you guys ! 😬😁👍

I grew up in the house across from that light house . My mom still lives there . The KOA there is wonderful .I love my home town Westfield NY . Thank you for showing that small bit of it , If you ever get the chance to go through the town it is very small and quaint and beautiful. When you go to visit the falls ride the Maiden of the Mist it is an amazing experience . Stay well and Travel safe

I was gifted a Level Mate Pro a couple of years ago. It works well most of the time! sometimes it will not connect, so I have to switch it off then back on. I also take the battery out of it when my TT is in storage. But I do like it when I pull into a site to find the most level spot to work with!!!

They will connect well if they are mounted in an area with not much obstruction for it to communicate through Bluetooth. Do you have the “+” version? The LevelMatePRO+ is the way to go so that you don’t have to switch it off and on, you just leave it running. You’re right, it is very handy. 👍🏻

@@LivinRVision No I do not have the + version! When I got mine I don't think it was available. I have mine mounted in the left front corner of my TT storage bay, so it should have no problems connecting. In fact I can stand right by it and sometimes it says failed to connect. I then switch it off and back on and can then get a connection.

When you mentioned the shops and restaurants around the Falls I had to go look up when we went there. It was 1983 and there was very little around the falls and very dirty with trash everywhere. We drove to the Canadian side and it was so clean and nice. I so hope they have cleaned up the US side. We had reservations this year on the Canadian side but cancelled due to the border still being closed. Oh well that can be another trip. Can't wait to see the video next week! Oh by the way we paid $12.00 to camp in our van. Don't remember where as we didn't get real detailed back then. Have fun.

You went right through our "neck of the woods"! We are just a few minutes south of Erie, PA and live very close to Sterrettania. BTW, it's pronounced stair-uh-TAIN-ee-uh. 😄 Living so close to Niagara Falls, we have been there several times. The Canadian side is much better than the American side, but it's great to experience from either side. We hope to see you in a couple of weeks in Hershey!

I especially love the zip line that goes from the boat launch on the Canadian side to the Welcome Center (about 3/4 of a mile). Looking forward to next weeks vlog. Safe travels. Brian.

@@LivinRVision Not sure where you're headed next, but if you can squeeze in some time at bar Harbor & Acadia National Park it's well worth it. Mt Desert Narrows is the TT resort in that area. Seafood, whale watching, sunrises, etc.

Depending on where they are mounted and obstructions, they can sometimes not communicate one time and then communicate the next. If it will connect when you move your phone closer to it, then you know it’s not the batteries. 👍🏻

Sandra Westley uk perhaps your not aware, but your boarder is closed. Our grandson got married on August 12th the only people that manage to get into Canada was his Mum and Dad, thank goodness he had some family support, none of his 5 brothers were allowed neither were we his Grandparents, a lovely day for him and his bride, but not for us the Grandparents left at home, we did watch on zoom but it’s not the same, and we kept losing the dialogue when the vows were being said.

I would say, the roar of the falls was much louder than expected as well as the massive size, especially Horseshoe Falls. And all the falls are more beautiful in person than any picture or video can do them justice! 🧡

Hi, You passed through the Erie, Pa area via I-90 (I live in Fairview, Pa which is a township west of Erie). …the exit “Sterrettania” or PA-832 or It turns into Peninsula Dr as you head North towards Lake Erie and Presque Isle State Park. If this exit is taken and you make a right, heading south…you would have traveled through an area that was the former Sterrett-pronounced STARE-et- farm area. At one point there was a little grocery store…still is a garage to repair cars, a bar…this area is called Sterrettania…(pronounced …like Pennsylvania but substitute “Sterrett” for “Pennsylv”). My understanding is this farm and family go back many generations. There is a KOA just off this part of Sterrettania Rd …KOA is on West Rd. I have been to Niagara Falls a number of times and the Canadian side is much better for viewing. At the time you were there…borders probably had not opened up yet because of Covid. Thanks so much for that information about the Sterrettania area. Very interesting! The Canadian border had just opened when we got there, for US citizens to cross but we didn’t go over. Brian doesn’t have his passport renewed yet. However we still thought the views on the US side were incredible! Have a great week!

We did very much so. We don’t recall in this video, but we have mentioned it a few times in other videos too. About 13-15 mpg towing and 18-20ish not towing. Sounds fun, maybe we’ll see ya in Naples! 😊🤓

The more of these I watch the more I think you should find some ways of indexing your videos so they are searchable. Places you go, facilities you recommend, food you ate. But I also think you should include the offhand comments you make about some of the gadgets, eg in this episode about installing the Level Mates. I suspect some folks will find that useful.

Appreciate your comment. That is something I have thought about many times. It gets very frustrating for me because, I am always so rushed each week that I never have enough time to do so many things, that I feel I need to do… that sounds so easy, but yet they all keep adding up and gets a bit overwhelming. I hope at some point I can get that and a few other things done, or hire someone to go through all 149 videos (to date) and do at least that part. Thanks though, as it may help push me to make it more of a priority. 👍🏻😊

It was actually open when we were there but I had just sent in for my passport renewal and have not received it in the mail yet, so we could not go. A lot of people say that the view is much better on the Canada side and we hope to get there someday. 👍🏻😊🤓

We have one child (son) and two grandchildren. We go back to Iowa at least once a year (mainly in summer) and spend time with them and our other family members. This year we stayed in Iowa from May through mid-July in order to spend time with family and friends.
