I went to the Prospect (elementary) school in East Cleveland in the '60s before moving to South Euclid and my classmate's little brother, Charlie, got hit by a car right by the school. The principal, Mr. Vinborg I think was his name, gave us a loudspeaker admonishment not to be careless, as he was. The family was crushed and we were all stunned and saddened. I had to take my little brother back and forth on public transport down Euclid Avenue and it was terrifying. I was disabled, too.
