Was in St Ives in May......caught the open top bus from there to Lands End and on to Penzance via St Just/Sennen, also stopping off at Geevor Mine [Poldark Country]....magical journey🥰

The real view of St.Ives is the coast view...an image is at the beginning of this Comment....Five Points, which takes the breath away..about a mile or so from Porthmeor Beach. Ran there many times as a lad, often all the way to Carn Naun, the Fifth Point......next time perhaps Teresa!

Any chance you can read the ring details from the original hi res photo on the Herring Gull at the end of the vid, please? - I can trace it and let you know the history of the bird if interested.
