Were you there? Yeah the atmosphere was great by the toon fans but hadn’t been like for a long time. I’ll be releasing my video later today. Was a bit disappointed in 30-40 of your fans who clumped together and walked around the ground antagonising fans. I filmed some of it.

Always rated the Toon but never understood why the Gallowgate is sat down. Thought a club like Newcastle would have a standing 'Kop'

I think it’s something to do with the design. The seating areas around the ground are wider apart than other stadiums snd the gangways are much wider. People are therefore more likely to sit, which they do. Newcastle away fans tend to stand, again because of the stadium seating design.
