Honestly mistake or no mistakes. Bosco is just the better coached team with better players. Theres a reason they've been at the top or near it for a while now. And plus- football in southern california is just unmatched now. This game meant a lot to this virginia team- but to those who dont know Bosco.... they face ridiculous comp in their league and all year long. This is just another game to them. Crazy how teams like this must dominate their leagues and what not- but once they face a Bosco team- its not even close. And it must be a real eye opener to not only the kids but the coaching staff as well. Seein what top competition feels like. But once again- we all saw what Bosco did to Allen in Texas in front of their home crowd in their ridiculous 50 million dollar football stadium. Hate em or love em. Bosco is just a ridiculous team.

They literally cherry pick across the NATION and they still cant go undefeated. And plus all these transfer rules makes it that much more difficult to do that. Hence - why the number 1 DL in the country transferred from a GA school to Los Alamitos in CA and didnt even play the first few games. He didnt go to Bosco or Mater Dei. You must not know football in southern cal- Bosco is not the only powerhouse within a 50 mile radius. You forget about Mater Dei? Servite? At one point Serra of Gardena had their Entire Wide Receiver core became USCs wide receiver core. The last was Pete Carroll before him John Robinson before him John McKay Add Lincoln Riley’s name next. And the SEC can quit feeding on Cali kids as long as Lincoln Riley stays. With the new NIL deals and only so many spots on the roster, I think there will still be a mass exodus of West Coast talent that goes elsewhere. I think Riley will turn it around, but there are also some huge schools that have been recent for quite some time recently that have pumped out NFL talent and won championships all across the country. I can see USC in the playoff picture, but I see them still having to contend with some better talented and coached rosters.

Va high schools don't play travel ball they beat up on lesser teams in their areas. Smith and highland springs went 0-3 vs out of state schools last season. And they are 2 of the best programs va has to offer. To be the best u have to play the best they dont

I blame this loss on the Virginia coaches. They should have done their homework and realized they are not match for Bosco. Then on top of that they had they’re whole community thinking they had a chance. They got dragged by Bosco. Honestly, Bosco’s JV team would have mopped them too. Virginia prep school could never hang with public county school , but that was back in 2007-2010 , Virginia prep/private school only played private schools . Like St Christopher would get smack worst by Cali prep school .
