St Johns Flooded | Linear Fisheries Complex Closed

Join Rob and myself as we fish St John's, a popular lake on the Linear Fisheries complex.
We had to deal with rising water levels and a sudden closure of the whole complex shortly after we started filming. But we didn't let that stop us from having a great time and testing out some new gear, including a fantastic stove recommended by our ambassador Chunkster.
Our ultimate goal was to catch the elusive Box Common or the Ghostie Common, two of the biggest and most beautiful carp in the lake.
Unfortunately, we were beaten to the punch by another angler who landed the Ghostie Common just before we arrived.

When ever Lin has shut in the past floods (years ago properly). The fish will benefit from a quiet Jan. And as for them closing for Jan, they make more than enough not to worry about it. Good. effort.

Great video guys Shame you didn't catch but thats fishing, im hopefully heading for st johns this Saturday just for the day but unfortunately not for carp this time as im taking me grandson on his first fishing trip so trying for pike as they are not too hard to catch.
