I recall in the late 70s, the Cards had 4 hitters in the top 10 in the National League: Reitz, Hernandez, Templeton and Simmons. Pretty powerful team.

Ted Simmons finished in the top 10 in either batting average, OBP, or OPS 15 times. The next best HOF catcher 9, the 3rd best 6. Guy is one of the greatest catchers. Ever. Imagine these stats if he had been a Yankee. Guy deserves far more gravitas than he has.
