Pro tip. Release tire pressure when you get stuck. Make the tyres softer and increase tire area and pressure. Don't stand and spin them like crazy. The more you heat them the harder it gets to get moving.

I remember that storm and I recognize a lot of those streets. Some of them are bad areas for driving. I know it took me 3 hours to get home and my car was so ice covered the next morning I couldn't go into work.

Load your car down with bags of kitty litter. When you need traction, pour a trail either behind or in front of your tires. Depending which way you need to go. So glad I don't have to drive it that anymore!!
