You aren't equal if you are living from taxpayer money and a landlord is smart to avoid renting to you. Forcing a landlord to rent to someone without knowing their income is totalitarianism and against the constitution and not in the landlord's best interest and no matter how hard you people fight against fairness it will only result in less rental units being available.

Sept 2, 2023 : Ok that city Director needs to be fired. Cause property owners still Saying No Section 8 in STL City and St. Louis County needs to follow STL city laws. Cause in North County Especially Areas like St. Ann, St. John, Breckinridge, Florissant, Overland. A lot companies saying no Section 8 and those low income areas. Which make no sense. The St. Louis Counth Exc Sam Page needs to address this issue. And Stop Property Owners and Property Companies Saying no section 8 in North County. Cause it is really bad in St. Louis County. With property companies saying no section 8.

Housing discrimination is ingrained in St. Louis culture. I honestly wouldn’t doubt that she was discriminated against. Wealth in the central west end must be protected at all cost but we can’t spread funding to other areas of the city that desperately need it. Sick sad world....

@@confusedcynic9073 I evicted the lazy cow because she stopped paying her portion of the rent and she kept using programs to pay all the utilities. I sold the house while the market was up and made bank!! She calls me and begs me to let her come back to a property I said ain’t no way.. Then wants to argue saying I wasn’t 3 months behind ugh yes you were.. She is a sad soul.. Insee why she was homeless and is homeless right now

Don't you love it when you pay taxes and then if you need help you can't get it. It's amazing how many people don't know that you have to have an income in order to be approved for a Housing Choice Voucher. Now when people lost jobs during pandemic and needed unemployment support they would be outraged if they couldn't rent a place to live because the owner didn't accept unemployment or alimony or veterans benifits
