So very interesting and new to me. How fortunate Mother Mary was to have the Holy Spirit as her groom. Holy Spirit, I ask for understanding of the word of God and worship according to His word.

Father, what about St. Joseph? Isn’t he the spouse of Mary too? So Mary has two spouses?

Being the spouse of the Holy Spirit doesn't make too much sense to me. Because I have always thought of Mother Mary as the spouse of YHWH himself because 1/3 of the trinity the Holy Spirit became Mary after wisdom descended apon her mother in a cloud. The immaculate conception is worthy of our worship. Because she is actually 1/3 of the triune God. There were chapters written about her in the wisdom of solomon chapter 6,7 and 8.

Mary is Daughter of the Father, Mother of the Son, and Spouse of the Holy Spirit. It is through the Holy Spirit that Mary conceived the Incarnate Son, so that would make her His spouse. It is a title that originated with St Francis. God bless - Friar Roderic
