In San Francisco we have an Irish-Mexican association that pays homage to them every year along with celebrating St. Patrick's day and Cinco de Mayo enjoying each other's culture. it's huge. A lot of Irish from the gold rush and more recently the Silicon rush. I'm a software engineer in Silicon Valley and work with a lot of tech professionals from Ireland and worked in Cork for Apple myself back in the 90's. Ireland is the Silicon Valley of Europe. A large Mexican population as well. We all get on great.
