Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Percy Sledge, Al Green, Wilson Pickett, David Ruffin. Welcome to the club Paul Janeway. God this was great. The boys in the band were fantastic too. Your face said all that needed to be said brother. That was volcanic 🌋

Love, love these guys. I've seen them a few times performing at Bluesfest in Australia. The first time, it was a very wet week, and Paul crowd-surfed, before rolling around in the mud in a three piece suit, belting all the while. Full commitment. He's the real deal.

Thank you for your videos, you are so real and in today's world refreshing...you also seem to like a wide variety of music so I want to suggest one of my favorite songs by someone you may never have heard of, but should...the song is Budding Trees by Nahko and Medicine for the People, it will be different from the norm, my late husband said those were his people when he heard it... be blessed and keep doing you because are are wonderful

Next to Big Boi, my favorite Tiny Desk Concert. Paul Janeway has a gift. He grew up thinking he would be a preacher. Family was Pentecostal. Mom only let him listen to gospel and Motown. Everything changed when a friend gave him a copy of Nirvanas Nevermind.
