How's the Weather In October
@tiffanyriley31627 ай бұрын
@robertbourke8618 The weather has always been great in Oct. No humidity, no mosquitoes, and a light breeze at night. We've been several times and always go in Oct. And it's not crowded.

@@tiffanyriley3162 is the water still as warm as it is previous months? I was told Aruba had the same weather and water temp all year round but when I went in February it was different to July so I was a bit disappointed. I'd hate to make the trip out there and find something similar

Was this in March or February? Weather? Cloud/rain? Recommend?
@CheckerTravel9 ай бұрын
this was around New Year. the weather is very unpredictable, we had a heavy rainy day, the worst storm locals remember in years, followed by perfectly sunny days for a week. So you never know. But in general, summer months get less rain and more sun.

The views in the Intercontinental are much more breathtaking especially with the pool.

yes, the pool overlooking the mountains looks amazing! But we prefer swimming in the ocean right outside the bungalows 😄 so much fun! (waiting for baby sharks 🦈😅)

My biggest decider is how soft the mattress is we can’t handle firm mattresses 😂
@CheckerTravel10 ай бұрын
St Regis it is! Oh, and the softest mattress ever was at Miraval Arizona - like sleeping on a big white cloud ☁️😝

1600-2500 dollars per night to relax in a Polynesian hut in the middle of the lagoon! It's expensive and selective! Some local hoteliers are even more greedy. The Polynesian government plans to double the number of tourists in the next 10 years. With the sky-high prices this is going to be difficult. It is allowed to dream...

as far as we remember reading about French Polynesia, the government planned to cap the number of tourist at around 280K max. There are different hotels at much lower prices as well, and many affordable airbnbs so they have potential to grow and help locals do well as most of them work in tourism sector

Love St. Regis it is so expensive

It is, but there are not so many unique “hard to get to “ places. The nature around is very beautiful and experiencing it from this resort makes it unforgettable
