It was about a 30 minute drive from the airport, which I think it pretty standard as far as hotels in Cairo go. Traffic can be bad at times!

110,000 points for a $1730 hotel stay, is that good? I'm really asking, because it seems like various websites value Bonvoy points at $0.07. Is that just how it is these days with the current crazy level of travel?

You're missing a zero! The current online values have Bonvoy points at ~$.007, or 7/10 of 1 cent. I got 1.75 cents with this booking, which is twice what current values are. Based on that, this was a good use of points.
