I also have similar video. St. Sunday Crag was my 50th Wainwright. I also went down to Grisdale Tarn but then up again to Fairfield. Enjoyed your vid. Thanks for sharing.

Good old slog. I have a similar video where I camped near the summit of St Sunday Crag. Great walk and dropping down the other side and coming back through the valley is amazing. Great video.

It’s a stunning part of the national park, we did a video of our hike up there, but we came up from Hart crag, across Fairfield then on to St Sunday

@@D.C.Outdoors thanks mate. I stayed in Patterdale this week but didn’t manage to do it. It’s definitely on the list for July. I ended up doing the High Hartsop Dodd loop descending via Middle Dodd. That’s steep both ways! I did Blea Rigg, Sergeant Man and High Raise too

Nope I would not have fancied Fairfield either after that walk 😳. I did the same walk as you about 3 years ago with a group and we walked up to the tarn first and that was enough for me. Looked a nice sunny day and I know your dog seemed to enjoy a dip in the tarn but would need to be a lot warmer for me lol, cheers Alan
