ST.Thomas Mount National shrine of India. the height of the mount is 300 feet .totally there are 150 steps to climb the hill bike parking and car parking is also available there. it is considered as one of the best part of Chennai. from the top of the Mount we can see the hold view of the city. it is one of the most historical place in chennai. the Mount is surrounded by officers training academy and military zone. Saint Thomas Mount is origin of the name of Mount Road.
