Whakatane, Bay of Plenty - The infamous Whakatane bar was pretty tame for our mission but once we were out of the heads a 25kt sou'wester and sloppy swell was doing its best to unsettle the crew. We battled hard with some solid kings and after a couple of heartbreaking bust offs we found a Bluenose honey hole!
