I love the helm door idea but is there a way of making it open outward. The current position for open storage inside presents a hazard to tall people. Especially in a situation where one becomes used to clear headroom and then there is a change and also in the event of un unexpected wave. Aluminium joinery has little give. Im not trying to knock a good idea, I'm just well experienced in banging into things and using my head as a feeler gauge. Ive also seen the results of walking into the sharp corner of a folded up stern window. Flesh rips easily under such conditions. If the stern door opened outward and up then it could fold up onto the roof and be out of harms way.

Love the idea. To bad it's not on the 25' platform and twin 200. Room for a kicker. Outside controls. A little taller front bow rail. I'm 6'4" climbing up and down the bow ladder a taller front bow rail would help entry into and out of the bow.
