Tensions in the tongue is what creates muffled, unclear sounds in so many singers. The lip thrills you're showing here liberates the tongue. The result is more free, clearer sounds. And the increased involvement of the body increases the volume. Thank you so much! You are at the top with Cheryl Porter in the vocal coaches category on KZbin.

Oh. My. Goodness! I sooooo appreciated this- Ive been singing all my life but really struggle with emotionality in my singing. I’ve asked so many Vocal coaches why the more I “ feel” a song emotionally the worse I sing it. I need to watch this several times and practice this. Thank you thank you !!

I hope this works for me and I know it won't happen in 0.5 seconds. I've been fascinated by Japanese culture and JP VA's and I'd love to do a cover of a song one day or even break out of my comfort zone and become a voice actor in my part time live or even just sing. No one can live without music.

Honestly I just don’t like how my voice sounds. I’ve been teaching myself to sing for months nearing a year now and I’ve actually improved a decent amount but the tone of my voice is complete as* 💔😅 I don’t know how to fix tone or is this just something I need to live with?

This 'but, but, but' that you did is to show when the sound is no supported and should to be corrected with the sandwich tongue liptrill right? Curiously this B' sound is very teached in mix, speach level, pop singing...the consonant b' to concentrate the sound and tight it and a vowel like 'i or 'o 'a to release it...i guess it gives the punch, the buzz that must be supported to not squieze and twist everything right.

To all: Practice what Eric is showing here. Don't bother with singing whole songs. Use only 3 or 4 words at most at a time.

Quick question. When I sing with a light and a bit high tone (like a tenor) my body feels very relaxed but I sound a kind of bad. When I sing with a deeper tone (like a baritone ) I feel vibrations in my upper body but I’m not sure if this this my natural voice. Which tone should I practice with?
@candyblingggggg2 жыл бұрын
7 months late but i think you should use your deep tone. its more natural while singing high like a diff voice type is unnatural especially if it’s negatively effecting your sound
@GetWellSoonR.E.M.2 жыл бұрын
Go for the lower tone. It sounds like your deeper sound is more connected to your body than the high tones. Your voice should be physically connected to your body

Hi Eric, this could be a stupid question. But I used to have a great voice. I still sing but it isn't as good as it used to be. What do you think the reason could be and how can I get my voice back ? P.s. I started to follow your vocal exercises few days ago.
@ericarceneaux3 жыл бұрын
If you injured your voice (nodules, polyps, etc), then some medical intervention (a visit to an ENT) might be necessary along with voice therapy. If, however, you’ve simply noticed a gradual decline in ability over the years, it’s likely that your muscles have simply weakened. The good news is that muscle weakness can easily be remedied with healthy vocal exercises and solid technique. It sounds like you’re already on the right track 🙌🏽🙂 Check out this video and see if it helps 👉🏽 kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqrJpZiCgtSKj68
