Have a very good 2024 Angus! Could you tell me the spanner size of the A65 (1971 OIF) front sprocket nut? And is it left or right hand thread?

Happy and fruitful 2024 to you too. From memory I'm pretty sure the nut is RH thread but as to the size, I can't remember and can't find anything in my documentation that states it, other than the part number. When next in the garage, I'll see if I have a spare to measure up. Apologies but thanks for the comment and interest.

Did the DVLA give you a J plate for the A70? And I was amazed to see the spare frame and tank for a Fury, does this Greg Lawton have an engine? Or is he going to fit something else? Merry Christmas!

Hi Andrew. Yes I got a J plate for the A70. Greg’s hoping to put together an engine as a long term project. He’s a chartered engineer so has the wherewithal to “create” parts. I have spares in the stash too which I can let go. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
