Learn How to Make a Sock Gnome!
In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a sock gnome that won't tip over AND learn how to turn a sweater sleeve into a gnome hat without sewing!

Supplies:
- Adult Sock
- Sweater
- 3" Round (I used wood, but you can use a jar lid or cardboard)
- Poly Beads (1/2 cup for weight)
- Poly Fill (stuffing)
- 1" Wood Bead (fabric or clay noses work, as well)
- 7 inches x 3 inches of faux fur
- Embroidery Thread
- Scissors
- Glue Gun + Glue Sticks

I tried this. I could not get the beard to work out like yours but he is still cute. I took the sleeve of a sweater too. But at the tip of the hat, I turned it inside out and put about 1/2 stitches with a heavy thread and gathered that top and then turned it right side out. Hubby love it so I guess it is good lol Love your videos

What do you use for the nose?

The nose can be anything, but I used a 1-inch wood round for this guy. Other options: material stuff with poly-fill, ping pong balls, pompoms, or (another favorite of mine) clay rounds I make with polymer clay and bake.
