Crescendo pattern is precisely true. I got the first Attack and it was very brief but the second attack the next day was disastrous. Rush to hospital and are now with two stents. Don’t delay it will cause your life.

I have had chest pain for a year. Had ekg, echo, stress test, and My CAC test was 0. I asked My Dr. if I had unstable angina and He said no? I am so tired of pain all the time. I use to feel good and have no pain everyday. Life sucks right now.

I also have inconsistent chest pain and tightness/tingling (not numbness, I can feel) that pops up in my left arm now and again. This all started when one morning I awoke (after a huge Italian dinner the night before) with a gassy-like pain in my chest that I've had before and always thought it was heartburn except this morning it felt more intense. If I had to describe it, it felt like a bubbling in my chest. I went to use the restroom and then back to bed and as soon as I laid down again and turned to my side the bubbling-sharp pain got worse and all of a sudden it felt like that "bubble" burst and instant I had a burning feeling spread over my chest and up the back of my neck. I ran out of my room freaking out until the burning subsided. That initial experience subsided but the chest pains I've experienced inconsistently along with the arm irritation started after that incident. Lately it feels like I can feel my heart beating in my chest lately but probably because of my anxiety over all of this. I went to an urgent care back in November who told me I had an abnormal EKG and told me I needed to go to the ER right away. I went the same day and had another EKG and blood work. Doctor at the hospital told me my heart and lungs were both fine and healthy and most likely it's gastric pain. Since that incident I decided to start a relationship with my new primary doctor. I explained my situation and he did additional blood work for me. Everything looked normal/healthy for my heart on my follow up visit, though my LCL cholesterol was a little high at 104. He also suspected gastric pain/acid reflux and told me the best course of action would be life-style changes. Since November I've made rapid changes to my diet (nothing too drastic but many healthier choices such as cutting out soda) and I've begun to exercise more regularly after not incorporating that in my life for a while. He wanted to see me again in six months. I went back to him probably a couple weeks later since my chest pains/arm weirdness was acting up again. This time he recommended me a cardiologist who I went to for the first time 2 weeks after that. I explained everything to my cardiologist and after getting another EKG there plus him listening to my heart he also concluded that my heart is healthy. It sounded normal and the EKG was fine. He said he did notice some irregularity that is common in men of my age group (I'm 26) and the doctor at the ER way back also said something similar. Among this whole process of trying to figure out my pain I've only been recommended to continue taking Pepcid AC Extra Strength when it feels like I have heartburn and Tylenol for the chest pain. My friend who's a PA thinks I might have some radial nerve damage or carpal tunnel.

I've been waking up every night for the last 2 weeks now by where between 10 pm and 2 am with terrible chest pain and pressure which seems to go more right and back pain and headache for at least 20-30 minutes. I carry the pressure into morning. I cannot lie down. I have no insurance. Scared. What you described as crescendo feeling is exactly what I feel. Never experienced this before.

My dad used to get chest pain at rest - usually during the middle of the night. Is this unstable angina? He used to use GTN to reduce the pain. He had a 3VD. They couldn’t do CABG because the arteries were too stiff and wires wouldn’t pass
