Because Americans have no need for digital dollars (yet), we already have access to USD. The rest of the world however is using stablecoins at a much higher rate than bitcoin as a proxy for usd.

Ian Grigg started this “we are all Satoshi” to protect the identity of the real Satoshi (Dr Steven Wright) but in 2014-2015 he was doxxed by Gizmodo magazine.
