I am loving the last two enrichment activities! So much fun for the horses, and so much fun for you and us! All the angles on the proceedings are hilarious and muchly appreciated ;) SO MUCH FUN! I think Joka has done this gig before. PS I suppose the scary wooden crate is going to be the next training tool :) Their reaction to it was hilarious, despite the apples :)

If you had told me a week ago I would take 22 minutes out of my day to watch horses bobbing for apples ...I would have laughed in your face...but alas...I did and it was one of the most satisfying 22 minutes I've had in a LONG time. Thanks so much for making me smile! 😄🍎🐴

I was really suprised at how much Annie was allowed to the pool when Joka had control of it and then when Lena had control of it. Annie and Luke stayed the longest and got the least on their own lol. I also noticed Annie had gone to stand with Lena and Gracie when u took her an apple, and they didnt run her off. Looks like Annie has moved up in the herd as Mocha takes that bottom slot. Interesting stuff...really enjoyed watching the dynamics of the herd as they had to be closer instead of the usual running and driving and pairing off they do. Good job herd leader!!❤

What a blast! The camera shots below and above water were awesome. Yoka sure aced that game. Clever little icelandic! The initial panic over the box was hilarious. After a slow start Roni got right in there, blowing bubbles even. This was so much fun to watch.

Loved this one too, it was hilarious. Joka who didn't want to have anything to do with the ball here you hardly couldn't move her away from the pool. And Annie stepping into it of course. Great underwater footage, and the sound of the horses catching the apples in the water even felt refreshing !

This was SO fun! Please continue with these creative and rewarding horsie challenges! It'll be interesting to see how they apply their new "ball of treats wrangling" and "pin the apple to the bottom of the pool" skills in other applications that they may come across in their lives. I really think that it adds to their confidence and capabilities in other potentially startling scenarios as well as builds up their problem solving abilities. I feel like they are very fortunate to be with a caring and creative caretaker that provides these clever tasks. It clearly keeps them stimulated and i believe more mentally healthy/less stressed in the long run. I couldn't love it more. What lucky lives these horses have! Please keep doing these fun challenges! Also, fantastic job on your camera set ups and editing. Nicely done for us viewers. Thanks, Graeme. Another outstanding video to add to the books.

This was so much fun!! The Go Pro at the bottom was INSPIRED. Little wet underwater horse noses!! Soooooo cute!! Given how nervous Joka was with the evil spiky ball of death, I was impressed by how brave she got and how quickly she figured out how to get apples. Meatball figured it out too! Everyone figured it out quickly, I just think Joka kept everyone away. This is the downside to chasing a lead horse away from an object - she can move all the horses in the arena, so getting her away was a challenge. My goodness Gracie is brave and clever especially when food is involved. And Lena was a pro almost immediately. Roni seems super wary of Joka, so when he finally got his turn he was so incredibly delicate and gentle with the apples. He made me laugh over and over with his blowing bubbles!! And of course, Luke and Annie were in there in a jiff. So much fun!! Let's do it again!! Please pass good wishes to David and scritches to Zeus. I hope they are both doing well. Have a gorgeous day.

This was hilarious, especially at the beginning when everyone ran screaming from the box. "It's a white box! Run everyone!" Joka is a master at apple bobbing. The different camera angles were great. This was so much fun. Thanks, Graeme!

This is so fun! It seems like they really enjoyed themselves. It's really interesting to see who comes and goes, and when. Looks like it was well worth cleaning up that gnarly water afterward 😅 Edit: And Gracie was very interesting in this one. She was one of the first in, but one of the first out. I wonder if she'd have more interest in a less crowded situation. (edit 2: I just saw the grass ball video and I'm leaning toward the crowd possibly being a factor in her leaving the pool)

That was so funny when they got in the pool and yes I did think Annie was going to brack the pool and Joka got mad 😡 when the others got in and she was not happy with you when you chased her out of the pool and Roni was so funny when he blew bubbles in the pool I even laughed at that one .

That was so much fun! I don't think I've ever laughed out loud so much, smiling and rooting for them. Love watching them figure it out and so quickly, for the most part. It makes me wonder in what situation would they do that in the wild? I imagine that they instinctively know to blow bubbles as I understand that they aren't actually able to hold their breath underwater. Would they naturally try to eat stuff out of a river or lake? Just thinking out loud... curiouser and curiouser.

I don't think they would ever do this in the wild as there wouldn't be a food source to go after. If they were super thirsty then they might all go to a small watering hole kind of thing.

@@StableHorseTraining I really had to stretch my imagination to think of a situation where they might. The best I could come up with is that maybe if they were in an area that was super dry and didn't have any grass, maybe they would go for seaweed at the edge of a lake(?) Random thoughts.

We need to contact Guiness, and see if we can get Stable Horse Training to set some sort of record. Either number of apples bobbed in one minute, or number of horses bobbing. At this point, it isn't a category so it would be whatever Guiness would expect as a minimum. Think of the exposure the wildies in particular would get, even if someone else's stable did better the next year.
