FYI, the Machado 2+1 fins have smaller front fins than all the other twins and a larger trailer. It makes for twin fin speed and hold like a thruster. I use them in almost every board I have except for my high performance short boards. As an example, in the RNG96, cymatics, dominator 2, hydroshort they work really well.

Often seems like the bigger the board, the more noticeable a fin swap is... Especially with flex fins. I have a 7'4 mid-length twin and swapped fins a bunch, it was super noticeable, but on a shorter board I don't notice it so much at all.

@@sharkfinsurfchannel Never heard of Captain Fin company. Don't think Future has a female surfer signature model. Learned today FCS had a Fitzgibbons model. I've tried a few off-brand fins and every time I got them they were off. Maybe I'll give CapFin a go to see if they are alright. Still shady to me that the big companies don't focus on fins for women, i,e, someone who may weigh 110 but have the leg strength that requires more performance than a fin suited for a kid.
