@@mrnoirstudio I'm going to be using an optic. Going back in forth on either a RMR or Delta point pro. Really wanted to use something that I can mount directly. I have never used plates, but direct mount seems better to me. Any suggestions?

@@CookbookAdventures I am waiting for the plate for the Aimpoint ACRO p2 that will arrive this Friday. I will let you know how it goes when I get to the range this weekend! I have a trijicon rmr on my g19, I like it a lot. You can use the half moon design as a back-up-back-up sight if your battery ever run out as well. The battery life is okay. I change mine out once a year since it’s on 24/7. My only experience with delta point is when I shot the issued pistols from the team dudes. They were okay. Big window, easy to find the dot. Both are comparable in size so honestly, whichever looks better with your beautiful cs 😂😂

@@mrnoirstudio I did some research today on that ACRO, that thing is no joke. Really great optic. You're going to have fun with that. RMR seems like a good choice as far as size and durability. The only thing I don't like is having to remove it every time to change the battery. The DPP is great but saw some videos on sage dynamic channel of him having issues with the glass breaking. Then again the video is like 4 years old and that might not be an issue anymore.

​@@CookbookAdventures One thing I noticed having changed the battery on the RMR a few times now, upon initial zeroing, all subsequence battery replacement does not shift the zero that much (if at all). It is a chore and having that feeling of uncertainty after a battery replacement is rather annoying, especially if it is your carry gun, it is still a great optic aside from that though! Let me know when you receive your cs and how it shoots!

Did you send it if for the slide cuts at Staccato??

Sorry for the late response! If you’re referring to the front serration of the slide, I believe it’s the X series serration. On their website, when you build your own staccato, it’s a ~$250 mark up from the ‘standard’ serration. I hope that helps!

If you’re talking about the Dawson Precision Optic cut, the gun came as is :) it depends on what your local gun shop has in stock, or you’d be at the merci of Staccato wait time!
