Have 2 c2’s and an XC. For the DUO option a CHPWS mounting plate and the corresponding 10-8 performance front sight make it even better by getting the optic lowering allowing for a lower cowitness so you don’t have too much sight impediment in the optic window. My favorite is to the get a non optic ready c2 and have it cut for a chamber’s custom optic mount with a rear sight forward (This setup is the reason I bought my second c2). And any of the 2011 pistols on the market should have grip work from darkside precision it truly makes it and even better pistol. Enjoy it!

You can't go wrong with the 509C. I have on too and Staccato. You're not really missing much. Remember, if you have to rely on a tool to be a better shooter, then it's a training issue. I got the Staccato only because i am into engineering and craftsmanship. It's an awesome platform but the diminishing return is just too low to justify the price when we have Glocks, FNs, etc. If you're into craftsmanship or just bored out of your typical compact guns, then yeah i think this will be a great purchase. Otherwise, i would not recommend it.

@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
I have shot both of those, frankly they do not belong in the same conversation. The P01 omega is a really nice gun and very great shooter, the C2 is hands down worth the extra money if you can swing it. The Staccato is a semi custom hand fit gun purpose built for carry and duty use. I love my staccato and with a little over 1k rounds and only one malfunction which was magazine related it’s as reliable as they come. There is a lot more data and hard use shooters out there using he C2 or staccato line as well. Hope this clears it up for you. Again the CZ is a great gun but they aren’t remotely alike outside of size.

@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
Always cocked and locked the Staccato line doesn’t have a super light trigger pull, it’s about 4 lbs. in addition the safety and grip safety make it just as safe if not safer than a striker fired gun when carrying. I always just remember the best safety is your finger.

@@1969platoi have a cgw sp01, p01 decocker (currently at cgw), 2020 staccato p (my edc), waiting to pick up my new c2 duo, and had a p01 omega. The p01 is a great pistol and with work by czc or cgw will provide plenty of gun for less than half the price. I'd recommend against the omega though. Its supposedly better out of the box but the original p01 has a higher ceiling for trigger quality potential. So Reddit forums are pretty strict on “spam” especially when you are a newer member, so what happened was: you got a strike against you for not following the requirements which in that case was a title, then you reposted which now looks like spam to the bots because you’ve now posted the same link in such a short period and you got booted. Not a bad video. But please... please don’t dead-drop the slide anymore. My toes curled every time. I think everyone is so used to striker fired pistols (which this action doesn’t affect) that they either forgot or don’t know that you shouldn’t drop the slide on an empty chamber on a 1911/2011. So much of what you’re paying for is that superb crisp trigger, but slamming the slide on an empty chamber causes sear damage. Quickly.
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and appreciate your concern! The dead drop on the slide is actually harmful on the internals of a striker fired gun also, this is due to nothing being there to slow the slide. On the 2011/1911 it’s slightly different but relative to this is also build quality and the components used. It should never been done repeatedly or over and over again. Frankly for me that slide my get dead dropped maybe one or two times a month if that. Most people don’t even know about dropping a slide on an empty chamber does. Again I appreciate your concern, but relative to how many times it’s really going to be done in my usage of striker or browning style actions I’m not concerned. Think of it this way, mostly any gun you use after about 10k you will replacing internals anyway. In my life guns are tools and they will be treated as such and maybe a little more lovin! Finally I have to say it’s part habitual because at the end of a course of fire in 3gun, qualifications and training you have to show clear and drop the slide to reholster.

When is dead dropping a slide required in the line of duty? Not being able to dead drop a slide is not a duty deal breaker. Watch the Wilson Combat videos about empty chamber slide drops, it’s not a question of how often you do it, even once on any quality 1911 can batter the sear and ruin that trigger feel you love so much.

After watching your review, I’m going back in the morning to go buy that gun!!!! These STI/Staccatos have ruined me as well! 😀👍🇺🇸

Very good review on your Staccato, one of the best I've seen so far, I'd have to say I'm comparing the SIG 226 Legion to this Staccato C2 both have awesome reviews, now saying that I'll probably end up with both over time as I own a Wilson EDC X9 a top shooter in it's own right. I hope you enjoy your Staccato what a awesome pistol. New subscriber.

Thank you Wayne! Both are excellent pistols! Couldn’t go wrong with either, but having owned both (Non legion), the Staccato is superior. The Staccato is more comparable to your EDC X9 100%! Thanks again for the nice comment and the sub!

@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
Not the staccato, they are a specialty pistol for LE, duty use focus. With most agencies trending towards predominantly 9mm. The 2011 design is and was engineered for the 9mm round, there are very few manufacturers who make a 45 ACP variant and even with that you would find more in 40 cal or 38 super before 45 ACP.

Allowing the reset to dictate when you break the next shot is the worst/least efficient way to pull a trigger.
@HuntFishShootChannel4 жыл бұрын
Really? Haven’t heard that concept before. If you could shed some light on that please, I would love to see where you are coming from! It’s not necessary about letting the reset dictate your trigger pull, but more so knowing when you can shoot again. For instance mechanically the Staccato can be shot faster than a Glock or Sig because the reset is so minimal. Maintaining trigger control and knowing your press is important so you are not inefficiently wasting trigger take up. Your opinion is subjective which is fine because there are a lot of different styles or methods taught. The principles are almost all the same though when you get down to the bare bones. Thank you for watching!

@@HuntFishShootChannel it's not opinion it's fact. Your pinning the trigger to the rear is inefficient. Causes tension in your forearm, hand and will cause you to move your sights when you press the trigger. I shoot a 2011 also, competitively. Study JJ Racaza, Eric Grauffel and the like, and tell me it is inefficient.
@HuntFishShootChannel3 жыл бұрын
I don’t disagree with you, you don’t pin the trigger to the rear. Knowing the reset is extremely important for getting a good follow up shot. Especially when making shots at a further distance. We may have had some confusion, but I’m very familiar with JJ Racaza. He in fact teaches to reset as soon as you fire, not pull trigger let gun go back into firing position and then ride that reset back out. Do I do that in this video, a few times, you bet your butt I do, but we are talking a gun I have never shot before and I want to know where my reset is. In addition to this I’m trying to demonstrate how short the reset is compared to a striker fired duty gun. There are multiple different shooting disciplines with basics of pistol shooting in them. Im not a competition shooter, I have dabbled in It but it’s not my lifestyle. We are more than likely going to have to agree to disagree, to an extent because I think there is some confusion, whereas if we shot together tomorrow we would have a lot of similarities outside of you being a comp shooter and I am not.

@@HuntFishShootChannel just don’t sell yourself short with a narrow mind. I am a student of JJ, and other world champs, and I thought I did a lot of things “right” until I was proven wrong, in my own shooting. Give it a shot, there is always room for improvement.

As good as any high$ gun is...whether it's marketed as a duty gun or otherwise...for most of us they are "range/BBQ guns...and maybe home defence". They jengineer these guns so much for ultra tight jtolllerances that they would be the first to fail in a "Military Arms torture test" (as unlikely as it would be that we'd drop our guns in a sand dune or in mud)...if I were spending this much $ on a single gun....I'd expect it to do what it does here and come out on top in any "torture test"...making it MY "go to gun". Which isn't to say I'd NEVER guy one...heh...but the chances (for ME) are slim to none)...$3500 or so to take plinking at the range? Put slugs in paper? Umm..

Whatever. I wouldn’t pay $2500 for that. My Glock 19 goes bang every time I pull the trigger, and I don’t have to fumble with a safety. In a high stress defensive situation, that’s all you need. The $2500 this gun costs is not going to magically save your life anymore than a Glock will. In the end, you still have to put rounds on target.
@williamgray96922 жыл бұрын
This gun makes it very easy to get those rounds on target.
@HuntFishShootChannel2 жыл бұрын
You are correct about a lot of what you said. Staccatos aren’t for everyone but they are a significant improvement upon striker fired guns. The safety is hardly noticeable and deactivated easily upon acquiring a grip.

@@JMDickeyArts never cared about voiding the warranty. My thinking is if you can afford a $2000 gun then you can afford to get it fixed heaven forbid something breaks. I like having my optic sit low on the gun and you just can’t get that on a staccato without milling.
