Staccato owners…….who have sent your stuff back to them for repair?….. Have you had the same quality service??? Sincere question (not trolling) 👍
@bobs35978 сағат бұрын
Yes, brand new XC had slide, frame and barrel fit very loose. I compared it to several others in the store and mine was by far the worst fit, similar or worse compared to a cheap polymer gun. They took care of that no questions asked. Also I had terrible machining marks on the safety and slide stop. They replaced the safety for free but charged me like $80 for the slide stop. A little annoying that they charged me for that considering the price of the gun. This gun should have no machining marks on it. The turnaround was very fast. I would say overall their service is excellent and Ben did not receive special treatment.
@practicepractice57197 сағат бұрын
@@bobs3597 that’s good to hear, however Ben reports them giving him a new free guide rod ($95)……but charged you $80 for a safety. Close, but not exactly the same…..but close enough 👍

The best service! I had an older Tactical 5.0 break a link. They fixed it in no time despite being well used.
@soulshot967 сағат бұрын
Yep. Not only do they answer all my annoying questions via email fairly quickly, but when my 2022 XC developed some weird mag release behavior I didn't feel like messing with, they took the gun in (overnight shipping paid for both ways), and ended up replacing the entire grip. Had it back to me the same week. No cost to me. Even called and left me a voicemail when they sent it back apologizing for a slight like 12 hour delay due to some weather in TX at the time. A huge part of the value of these guns is in the warranty and support IMHO.

I bought a used C2 in 2021, had an issue come along with it right after buying. I had reached out to Staccato. They taken it in( the warranty does not cover guns used only original owners with it). They end up replacing it with a brand new C2, after saying the dlc was flaking off the frame. No charge to me, to my shock. That had taken two weeks then.

Had an optic screw sheer off on my stealth arms platypus. I emailed stealth arms about the issue (at 2 am) and somebody emailed me back first thing in the morning at 10 am with a one day shipping label to fix it. Sent it over, they recieved it and fixed the problem within a day and even sent a new iron sight plate. One day shipping the gun was at my door within three days of the problem happening. Couldnt have been happier since the problem was really my fault by not using a torque screwdriver when installing the optic.

My experiences were pretty similar, if not better. I brought a staccato second hand that had issues because the slide to frame fitment was too tight which caused the gun to lock up at random times. Even though their official policy doesn’t extend to second hand owners, they still paid for shipping for me to send it in a fixed everything free of charge. They even gave it a new finish, and guide rod. I practically received a brand new gun. I will always support staccato because they truly try to make their customers feel special

If faced with the choice of "Good product/Amazing Customer Support" vs "Great Product/Bad or Mediocre Customer support" , I'll take the former every time. I would have bought a Dan Wesson DWX a year ago, except all I ever read about is how bad the customer support is.

That's excellent service. I purchased an SMG guns FG42 TII replica and had one of the bipod legs break within a few weeks of owning it. I reached out to them and was told it would be a year before they could get me a replacement, so I had to fix it myself while I wait till October 2024 to try and get a new one. I also have cycling issues with the gun and reached out and never got a response. This is a 7.7K dollar gun that has had less than desirable support so I would say Stacatto is knocking it out of the park.

I own a few Stacc's and their cust support is first class every time I've needed something. When you hear "you get what you pay for" this goes beyond the gun and includes the service along with it. Can't go wrong with an XL for the trifecta. XL with the 2.5 trigger is an amazing gun to shoot

My buddy is LAPD metro and they were the first LE to adopt the Staccatos. All of them had mag issues. Staccato gave them the finger and said we improved the mags and you guys can buy new ones for $65 each. The department did not pay for the pistols. The officers had to buy them. That was a few years ago now. Maybe they improved their service. My buddy was pretty pissed since Staccato used them as marketing to drive more sales then turned their backs when they had problems. Rounds were popping out of the mag when doing reloads not on an empty mag.

A local range rents out Staccatos, including the XL. I currently own an STI DVC 3--gun, which apparently the XL is based on. I shot them back to back since my range is like that. Recoil was a bit harder on the Staccato, but I chalk that up to the fact that it was running a Trijicon SRO whereas my DVC does not have an optic. Trigger felt the same on both. I do prefer the dragon scale grip on my DVC versus the texture on the XL. If I was really wanting to get a backup for the DVC, the XL would be it, even though it costs seven hundred more than my DVC.

I think you got the normal Staccato treatment. In my experience, their customer service is second to none in the gun industry. I do wish they were more hand fit like back in the day, but even the mass production guns they put out today are better than your average pistol and they’ll always have your back if things go south. Thats part of getting what you pay for folks 🫡

You had an issue, you gave them an opportunity to make things right, and in turn they went above expectations. They checked the rest of the gun to ensure it didn’t come back to them. I’m not sure what more anyone could ask of them.

2011s are high maintenance, finicky, crazy bitch type of guns. Any serious 2011 manufacturer know this and plans customer service accordingly. It’s an expensive pistol to make, but it’s not the only reason you pay premium money for it
@John19118 сағат бұрын
The average retail consumer doesn’t appreciate how important it is to turn around warranty / service tickets on guns that are carried in the course of earning a paycheck. 1 week turnaround is fantastic. 2 weeks is ok. 3 weeks starts becoming a hassle. Anything beyond that turns into a full blown crisis. Mass production companies that take multiple months is simply a deal killer. Similarly these ultra-boutique 1911 shops that have 1-5 year waiting lists are just as useless. Taking 3-6 months to turn around some “custom 1911” isn’t doing that guy a favor. What’s really happening is that gun is getting left behind. Full disclosure. I don’t own a Staccato and actually am quite vocal in my dislike of 2011’s in general. But tip of the hat to Staccato on this turn around time. That is how you actually win the “duty gun” game.

Do you switch back and forth between a few different pistols during the week or do you shoot pistol A for a few weeks then switch to pistol B for a week or so before moving on to another option?

I had a p10c that would stove pipe at least once every 50 rounds. Brand new gun Tried new oem mags, cleaning it, and changing ammo, still the same issue. The brass would sometimes be caught backwards in the ejection port. Sent it back they said they cleaned it and nothing was wrong and “advised shooter to check their grip”.
