Been using Linux Mint as my daily driver since 2010, but never heard of this useful utility. Now installed.

Didn't even notice that. Interesting that they keep the page up, and it still ships on Linux distros out of the box.

@@AwesomeOpenSource It's also simply on the Pop!_Shop without even noting that it's "EOL". I hate when they're not clear about that on those software-platforms. Most of the time it's indicated, but this one doesn't even show info on a version on its page. It makes it so questionable, but considering it's through the default Pop!_Shop I can't but assume it's fine. - It works, though... Installed and running in two seconds.

Pretty nice, but I just need a HWiNFO-equivalent, or better yet, actually HWiNFO. But there's just nothing that is as fleshed out, with ALL the information it can find on a computer, like speeds, temperatures, power, keep all the min/max/avg data, meters and graphs... I relied on that heavily to keep an eye on what was going on with my system. - That's one of the few things that I had to let go, and let go I did, because it felt like I was flying blind from then on. I learned to just shrug it off whenever I configured something or ran new hardware, like "this is just my life now, if it dies, it dies". - I don't understand why nobody ever tried to make something as detailed as that, and if they did and it does exist, I don't know why it's so hard to find, because I've probably searched for hours over time.

It's hard to lose tools we love for sure. But there's always an opportunity to build one yourself for sure.

Having used Ubuntu since 2009, Ubuntu screws up its nice functionality with every release and makes ugrades unusable. Unity was great and I really loved it. But I can't get a Ubuntu desktop to stay working for more than a couple of months. On the otherhand, Debian (Ubuntu's mother) and PopOS have worked great for me, nearly without fail.

Interesting. I haven't experienced the same issues with Ubuntu, but sorry you are having so much trouble with it. Looks like you've found some good alternatives though.

Those are generally 2 different systems, but I've done UVDesk and Zammad for ticketing, and Homebox and Netbox for asset management / inventory in the past as well. All videos are available in my videos section.
