I think mike would have won, but no one can question Bowles heart after getting off the canvas to beat holy in their 3rd fight, plus never quitting in that 2nd fight with golota (maybe the most savage beating I've seen a heavyweight take). Yeah, he should have fought Lewis, but by the end of his career, he showed he could absorb incredible punishment and keep fighting. Bowe had heart.

I think it all depends who is training Tyson at the time.If it is Kevin Rooney then yes,if say Ritchie Giachetti then no.With Eddie Futch in Bowe's corner then just maybe.I remember Bowe having huge problems with Golota.Bowe was a quality heavyweight but tended to be lazy sometimes.

I think in first golota fight he was out of shape. In second he was shot fighter. Alle that accumulation from holy and golota fight too everything out of him. And golota had his number any way

Edge goes to Riddick Bowe. The only Hall of Fame boxer Tyson beat was Larry Holmes at the end of his career. James Buster Douglas on his best day couldn't defeat Bowe, he gave Tyson a great fight and won. Holyfield destroyed James Buster Douglas in the third round and beat Tyson twice. Bowe was never knocked out and Bowe beat Holyfield twice. Lots of Tyson fans will cherry pick it down to a 1 year span where Tyson was better than anyone. (only one win against a hall of famer). Was it when Tyson defeated the mighty Tony Tucker? Facts weigh in the favor of Riddick Bowe.

He beat michael Spinks who is hall of fame. Lineal light heavy & lineal heavyweight champion. Holyfield beat Tyson after he was inactive for over 4 years. He never look the same after his release. 1986-1992 it’s a completely different fight. It was a close fight for 8 rounds until Tyson run out of stamina. Another 3-4 mins it’s a 12 round distance fight. Douglas was 20 pounds overweight when he fought Holyfield compared to when he fought an undisciplined, unmotivated Tyson. Style make fights, you can’t say because this guy beat this guy that means he’ll beat that guy etc... Golota, if it wasn’t for his crazy mind he probably beats Bowe, he was battering him in those fights but his stupidity lost him those fights getting DQ’d. Tyson stopped Golota inside 2 rounds, made him Quit. So you can say that equals Tyson knocks Bowe out. Bowe struggled badly with golota twice, at times he got battered, Tyson beat golota in 2.

True. I don't see why Bowe wouldn't be able to handle the pressure of a young Mike Tyson when Bonecrusher Smith and Tony Tucker handled it just fine. If Tyson can't knockout Bowe within the first three rounds, Bowe wins easily by TKO.

Bonecrusher Smith held every chance he got; He did not put up a good fight. All he did was keep Tyson from knocking him out. Bowe also ate a ton of leather from the smaller Holyfield. He left himself open way too often.

Gamevet Tyson would've ate a lot of leather too had he fought against quality opponents that knew how to throw combination punches like Evander Holyfield. Like I said earlier, Tony Tucker handled Tyson quite easily. I can only imagine what a skilled, motivated and fearless Riddick Bowe would've done to him.

@Hollywood Ric Have you actually watched a prime Mike Tyson? He made opponents miss and they payed big time for their mistakes. Tony Tucker held Mike a lot, and that is why he survived the match. He in no way put on a rock solid performance against Tyson. Bowe was losing against Golata, but Golata got disqualified, because of too many low blows. A washed up Tyson, put Golata in the hospital, after being severely injured during the match.

I think Tyson would beat Riddock Bowe, I dont think Bowe had huge heart, he pissed his pants over the idea of fighting Lennox Lewis. I think he'd piss his pants at the thought of Tyson too, rendering him rather useless.
